     Sr. Network Engineer

Installed and maintained large area network using Local Directors, 7500 and 12000, 5500, 6500, GSR with POS , FastEthernet, OC3, OC12, and Gigabit interfaces. Configured and maintained BGP4 with multiple providers controlling the traffic. Built all of the name servers for the Hotmail domain.

     10/1997 to 10/98 Exodus Communications, Inc
          Internet Service Provider specializing with collocation and access.

     Sr. Network Engineer

Full time support of large network infrastructure. Including maintenance of the Exodus network and customer networks using Cisco routers and switches, and troubleshooting various problems. Supported Exodus national DNS infrastructure consisting of 6 name servers with over 3000 customer domains. Day to day operations of Cisco routers and switches and the name servers included trouble shooting, error tracking, and log checking. Other network duties included new customer line configuration, customer Cisco router configuration and trouble shooting point to point and frame relay line downs, as well as collocation outages including 10Base-T and 100Base-T.

     Network Manager

Responsible for all aspects of business development, finance, and operations. Designed, installed, and maintained a 30-node network using DNS, TCP/IP, NetBEUI, Ethernet (10baseT and Thin Net), and dedicated ISDN Internet connection. Installed and maintained NT Servers, Win 95 & NT workstations, Netscape Enterprise, Commerce Server, Mail Server, RAS and FTP services. Created and maintained web pages using HTML, IPerform CGI scripting tools, Adobe Photoshop, etc. Provide consultation to customers, including PC/LAN troubleshooting and maintenance, training, etc. Supervise and provide technical support to sales team and graphic design team.

     1984 to 1995 Quick Reaction Corporation - Pebble Beach, CA
          An engineering consulting firm specializing in radar and microwave research and development.

     Project Manager

Extensive communication with sub-contractors required to meet project schedules. Incorporated input received for government mandated MIL-STD formats for presentations. Reviewed contracts.

     System Safety Manager

Developed System Safety Plan affecting over 1000 people on the Tri-Service Stand Off Attack Missile (TSSAM) project. Analyzed hazards and created a finalized report detailing findings and recommendations, all of which were accepted. Gathered data from 5 subcontractors and gave status presentations to high-level government personnel.

     Production Supervisor

Organized production of data collectors for ground penetrating radar. Managed staff of 4 technicians and 1 engineer. Involved with the hiring and scheduling of personnel. Ensured adherence to testing program.

     Purchasing Manager

Responsible for 1.2 million dollars of purchasing from over 500 vendors. Developed and maintained purchasing system. Ensured product quality while maintaining tight production schedule.
